With inclement weather conditions expected over the next couple of days, Superintendent Jason “Jake” McCandless announced on Monday an update to the school’s grab-and-go initiative.
Students and families who visited the district’s designated meal sites through the city were sent home with food for today, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
The meal sites are expected to re-open on Thursday, March 26.
As a reminder, Superintendent McCandless encouraged community members to stay at home as much as possible.
“We also hope that anyone who is able to stay home please do so, as avoiding person to person is crucial to slowing the spread of Covid-19,” he said.
