Mayor Linda Tyer joined a team from Republic Services on Wednesday, June 12 for the organization’s annual community donation presentation in front of City Hall.
“We’re so grateful for how hard the Republic Services team works all throughout the year in our city. Moreover, we appreciate their commitment in helping to support and advance the work of vital organizations in Pittsfield,” said Mayor Tyer.
As part of this initiative, the mayor selects the organizations that will benefit from Republic’s program. Donations were presented to the following groups:
- South Congregational Food Pantry: $500 plus a shipment of food items
- Living in Recovery (ServiceNet): $1,000
- Roots Rising: $1,500
- Fourth of July Parade: $2,500
