The Pittsfield Department of Community Development Recreation Program’s annual Community Bike Ride event will take place Saturday, May 25, at the Controy Pavilion on Onota Lake at Burbank Park.
The ride begins at 10 a.m. with rider registration for this free event beginning at 9:30 a.m. The route will begin at the Controy Pavilion, head up to Pittsfield State Forest and back to the pavilion making the ride just under 6 miles round trip; a police escort will be provided for the ride.
An obstacle course in addition to on site bike maintenance provided by Berkshire Bike & Board will be available before and after the ride.
The event is sponsored by Berkshire Mountain Bike Training Series, Berkshire Bike & Board, Guido’s Fresh Marketplace, Ice River Springs, Lee Bank, and Amenitek.
