On Thursday, May 23, the Ralph J. Froio Senior Center will host a primer on “Medical and Recreational Marijuana” as part of its Froio after Hours monthly programming series.
The interactive session, which is free and open to the public, will be held 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium on the second floor of the center. The lecture will be led by Barbara Shea Tracy of Medwell Health and Wellness. Light refreshments will be served.
Theresa Bianchi, the chairman of the Council on Aging said the workshop will provide useful insight.
“The Council is pleased to present an informative discussion on such a timely topic. It is our hope that our members and others can gain a better understanding of the medical benefits that might be realized from this recently legalized alternative.”
The May 23 lecture will conclude the winter/spring Froio after Hours program series.
