BOSTON, MA — December 13, 2018 — Wayfair Inc. (NYSE: W), one of the world’s largest online destinations for the home, today announced plans to further expand its commitment to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with the opening of a new sales and service center in Pittsfield and the addition of a third office location in the Back Bay. The company’s new Pittsfield location will bring 300 jobs to the region with hiring at the new location beginning in 2019.
In Boston, Wayfair will build upon its existing footprint in the Back Bay with an additional 300,000 square feet of office space located at 10 Saint James Avenue. The new space will be Wayfair’s third Back Bay location combined with the company’s current office at 4 Copley Place and its recent lease at 500 Boylston and 222 Berkeley streets. All three locations will house Wayfair’s corporate headquarters with space to accommodate more than 10,000 employees in the Back Bay as the company continues its rapid growth.
