A:  American nonprofit artist cultural industry generates $135.4 billion dollars in economic activity per year, on a national basis; $61.1 billion in spending by organizations and $74.1 billion in spending by audiences.  It supports $4.1 million in jobs and $22.3 billion dollars in government revenue per year.  A very powerful economic engine!
